FAQs

Q. Why do I need to register?
A. Registering allows us to gain key information such as the nature of the organisation you are from, what organisation and the location you are registering from.

This data is important to help us better understand our user base so we can continually improve our toolkit to meet identified needs. You must register to use all the COVID-19 Resource Toolkit functions.
Q. There is a lot of information to fill out before I can download anything. Why?
A. The information we require when completing your profile is important for us to gain a deeper understanding of our users.

Having a more accurate understanding of our users allows us to create content more relatable and relevant.

Contact details are required during the registration stage so we can contact you with any important updates, such as new versions of resources.
Q. How do I search for a certain language?
A. Search for the specific language tag you are after e.g. ‘Te reo Māori’ or ‘Chinese’.

This will come up with results only with that specified language.

You can also use the drop-down filters on your search results page. All languages are shown by default, in their order of upload.
Q. How do I search for more accurate results for the asset I am after?
A. In order to provide resources to all of New Zealand we produce a wide array of content, so there are many assets available.

Scroll past the search bar on the home page to find the albums section, there are multiple albums to choose from, this makes navigating to your desired assets easier.

To refine further, add more tags that relate to the asset you desire. Use the drop-down functions to filter specific asset types, audiences, languages, and staying safe categories.
Q. How do I find assets related to the specific industry I am in?
A. In the albums section on the homepage, you will be able to find specific industries such as education, events, hospitality and more. Use tags to filter results further.
